This Shopping cart is fully automated. To assist you with the order process there follows a brief description of that process to help you find your way around the site.

To browse the product categories:
Categories are ordered by supplier, e.g. Subaru, Fordrallysport and so on, click on the link to the section you wish to browse. If there are sub categories, as there are with the Subaru section, select the sub category, e.g. headwear, for hats, and you will see the products in that sub category. Some Categories do not have sub categories and in this instance clicking on the only category available will display all the products associated with the manufacturer.

When you find a product you like and want to know more about it, click either on the picture of the product itself or on the 'Details' link for a larger picture and a description of the product.

If you decide to purchase the product click the Buy button, either on the product list screen or the details screen and it will be added to your shopping cart.

You may continue to add items to your shopping cart until you have finished shopping.

Each time you add a product to the cart you will see the items already in it. If you want two or more of the same item you can increase the number of items for that selection and click the 'Update totals' link. If you decide not to purchase an item that you've added to the cart you can select it by adding a tick to the checkbox next to the item in the column 'Select to delete' and clicking the 'Delete' link.

At any time you can click the 'Checkout' link at the top right of the page to view your cart contents.

When you have finished shopping click the checkout link to return to the cart, then click the 'Checkout button at the bottom of your order to proceed to the customer details page. Here you will be asked to fill in your name and billing address and have the opportunity to specify an alternative delivery address for your purchases. Please fill in as much information as possible and be careful to spell addresses, particularly your e-mail address, correctly. For your convenience there is a checkbox at the bottom of the form which allows you to record the information in the form on the disk of the computer you're using so that on your next visit the form will not need to be filled in unless your details or delivery address have changed.

Clicking the 'Checkout' button at the bottom of the customer details page will take you to an order statement page, listing your purchases. You may print the page for your information by selecting 'Print' from the 'File' menu of your Browser. Click the 'Checkout' button of this page to be redirected to our secure payment service.

In this window you must type your name - exactly as it appears on your credit or debit card - select the type of card you wish to use, enter the card number, start date, expiry date and, if you're using a credit card, the security code number. If you are using a debit card you will need to supply the issue number.

When you click 'Authorise' the transaction will be processed. This can take up to a minute on a slow connection, do not click the 'Authorise' button again or you may be charged twice.

You will not be charged for any item in your order until all items are dispatched.

The transaction system is very secure and cannot be intercepted, so your card details are safe. Performance Clothing does not see your card details, they are actioned directly by the secure payment provider.

To search for items:
The site has a search function which you can access by clicking the 'Search' link at the top right of the page.

Type the name of the item, or a brief description, in the 'Search for' window, choose whether to search for 'All words', 'Any word' or the 'Exact phrase' from the drop down list below and, if you know which category you wish to search in select it from the list under 'In categories'. You may also specify a maximum price by entering a number representing GBP (Great British Pounds - Sterling) in the 'Max price' window.

If your search comes up empty please try different combinations of words and check your spelling carefully.
